About Ron Depaola

Ron and his team of professionals have provided mediation services and valuable coaching to individuals and families empowering them with the skills and confidence to deal with their personal and professional challenges in a constructive manner.

Through a successful and diverse 20 year professional career in both the corporate and not for profit sectors, where he held several senior management level positions, Ron developed exceptional and critical conflict resolution and de-escalation skills allowing him to effectively problem solve and manage conflict inside the workplace.

He has had the unique opportunity to train high school students in peer mediation, equipping them with essential life skills to deal with conflict in a more effective and productive manner. Ron serves as a mediation coach/mentor for second and third-year Law students and as a judge in national and international mediation competitions organized by Osgoode Law School. He holds a QMed (Qualified Mediator) designation through the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario, an organization of which he is a member in good standing.

Ron continues to advance his training in the areas of mediation and negotiation to ensure he is consistently updated on new developments in best practices. He interned at “A Place for Mediation”, a respected mediation practice in Toronto, where his training focused on personal injury, contract and employment related matters. He currently serves on the Ontario Attorney General’s Mandatory Mediation Program roster. Ron successfully completed the Advanced Workplace Restoration program and is certified as a Workplace Fairness Analyst.
